    I LOVE IE8 Beta2

    This afternoon, my co-worker, Jeff, sent a link to IE8 Beta 2.  I figured a Beta 2 is usually pretty stable so I decided to download to my desktop at work and I've been using it for the last ~3 hours and I'm a huge fan.  I realize I sound like a gushing fanboy, but I'm really happy with IE8.  A few of my biggest reasons are:
    • It just feels wicked fast - I'm not doing any statistically accurate measurements, but it feels faster than IE7 and FF3.
    • Find does not pop a new dialog - I hate when apps pop additional windows for find and now IE8 just has an inline find along with quickly finding the first instance. 
    • Search history includes page titles - Search history used to include only URL's and now it includes titles so when I type "buzz", I got both http://buzz.yahoo.com and Buzz Monitoring Tool. 

    Props to the IE team.  I'm going to be installing on ALL of my machines including my dog slow box at home.  If you want to follow suite, here's the link:
